"Unemployment talk" was created to establish a public presence for workers to share and document their concerns and experiences coping with today’s especially tight job market and to pose questions of common interest to other workers.

Because the voices of unemployed workers are critical to the national debate over jobless benefits and the economy, “unemployment talk” also provides an opportunity for interested workers to communicate with the media and other interested organizations.
